The material is written in a way which is easy to follow and understand. At the end, you will be equipped to be a successful Paralegal who would be an asset to any legal environment.

The Association, which was established in 1987, is the professional body for Solicitors' support staff. We are committed to the career development of our Members. The Association, has many levels of Membership and runs many Paralegal qualifications right through to degree level.

However, our philosophy is that before a Paralegal becomes a specialist he or she must first become a generalist. Whatever particular area of law you may want to specialise in does not operate in a vacuum. It is vital to have a sound knowledge and understanding of the English legal System and knowledge of other legal areas also.

As a Distance Learning Student, you study at home in your own time. There are no time constraints. You can take as long as you want or you can complete the course as quickly as you are able. The average time taken to complete the course by Distance
Learning is 14 months. It all depends how much time you can give to your study.
There are no examinations to take and you will be assessed by way of course work - tests and assignments.
