If you are a law graduate or licensed paralegal, already a qualified paralegal, are working in the legal sector, we have categories of membership to suit everyone's legal experience.Annual subscription rates range from £40.00 to £70.00

Student Membership £40
Level 4 Diploma in Paralegal Studies
Level 7 Diploma in Paralegal Practice Existing members taking further qualifications are exempt. First year membership is included in course fees.

Affiliate Membership £40 Is granted to all those who have successfully undertaken any legal course at a lower level than the Level 4 Diploma in Paralegal Studies (including Legal Secretarial Qualifications), or have appropriate experience. E.g. Paralegal Practical Skills Course ILSPA Legal Secretary Diploma, ILEX Level 2 or Level 3, Law Graduates yet to complete the Association's Level 7 Diploma in Paralegal Practice or the Legal Practice Course (LPC).

Associate Membership £50 For those who have obtained the Level 4 Diploma in Paralegal Studies a legal qualification at Level 4 or relevant legal experience including procedural law, Associate Members are eligible to use the designated letters 'A.PLL' after their name. Graduate Membership £50 For Law Graduates who have a Law Degree or the CPE/Post Grad. Dip. Law and have passed either the LPC or the Association's Level 7 Diploma in Paralegal Practice Graduate Members are entitled to use the designatory letters 'Grad.PLL'. Fellowship Membership £50 Is only open to those who have gained their Fellowship Award in their legal specialism. View the Specialist Courses Training Options Fellows are eligible to use the designatory letters 'F.PLL' Renewal Fellowship Renewal |
Licensed Paralegals £70 This fee includes either Associate, Graduate or Fellowship Membership fees and is not in addition to them. Applicants must satisfy Licencing Compentancy and have a acceptable qualification in law: i.e.
Level 4 Diploma in Paralegal Studies,
Level 7 Diploma in Paralegal Practice,
ILEX Level 6 ,
Law Degree or HND (plus a procedural law qualification)
or any other qualification deemed suitable.
