We'd like to tell you about some exciting new features and benefits for members on the NALP website…
The Post Graduate Diploma in Paralegal Practice (PPC)
Do you know someone who'd like to become a Career Paralegal? The National Association is now taking enrolments for this part-time evening course for Law graduates. The next course starts in London on 24th September and runs for 20 weeks, 2 evenings a week(£999). This course can also be studied by distance learning with full tutor support for £585.
Recruitment
Talks with recruiters are proving fruitful and our ambition is to have priority job notification for members. Please recommend any recruitment companies in your area that you think are worthy of our allegiance. Email amanda@nationalparalegals.co.uk
Paralegal Social Networking
Plans are afoot for a social and mentoring network nationwide so that members can meet other paralegals outside their own working environment. The NALP is looking to establish an 'invitation only' profile on one of the social networking sites. If you have a preference for a particular site let us know. Or if you would like to join and start a group in your area please email shane@nationalparalegals.co.uk

We're creating a contacts page for members!
Increasing awareness of the excellent skills paralegals can offer has created greater demand. The National Association is now receiving more enquiries from both businesses and members of the public asking for trained paralegals. We would like to point them to a list of the right people. Any member who wishes to can be listed in this section:
If you are working within a law firm the NALP will need written permission from your employer to list your own and your employer's details - company name, address, contact details, website and area of expertise. If you are self-employed we'll need your business name, contact details, area of expertise and website(if applicable). Email shane@nationalparalegals.co.uk now and get on board!
